The Board of Trustees serves as the governing body that provides leadership and oversight for BPA. Their main job is to guide the organization’s direction, set policy, and ensure resources are used in a way that supports the mission. They typically approve the annual budget, monitor programs to make sure they align with goals, and may appoint or oversee the executive director or other top officials who handle day-to-day operations.

That broader governance role is what makes the option describing that they manage all BPA affairs the best fit among the choices. The other items describe specific operational tasks—organizing competitions, setting membership dues, or hiring teachers—that are usually carried out by staff, committees, or volunteers under the board’s policy and supervision, not by the board itself.
